Read this guide to see how Sydney’s Schools performed in relation to each other. The 2018 High School Rankings have been derived from the NESA data that is publicly available. Our rankings include a complete list of schools and results based on their HSC performance.

We have included the rankings from 2016 and 2017 to provide an overview of each school’s performance history.

 

In this 2018 High School rankings article, we provide you with an easy to understand analysis of the top 150 schools based on their performance. We have broken the data down into :

  • 15% of the schools in the top 150 rankings are government non-selective schools

How to Read the HSC Rankings:

Terminology

  • High Scores: the number of Band 6 scores.
  • Total HSC exams sat: the number of merit list course completions.
  • 2018 Success Rate: the high scores expressed as a percentage of Entries, rounded to two decimal places.
