Approach
Structured Acceleration
Across 9 weeks each term, students complete the full next term’s content ahead of school. By the end of the year, they have completed both the Year 9 and Year 10 curriculum, which is essential preparation for students who plan to begin HSC Biology, Chemistry, or Physics in Year 10 as part of an acceleration pathway. This fast-track approach gives students confidence and familiarity with advanced concepts before they appear in class or assessments.
Teaching Approach
Each weekly lesson is taught by experienced teachers using clear explanations, step-by-step worked examples, and explicit instruction. Students then apply their learning through guided practice, weekly quizzes, and exam-style homework that is collected, marked, and returned with feedback.
Content Mix
Lessons go beyond the school curriculum, covering syllabus content in depth while introducing advanced, non-routine problem solving. Each session balances conceptual mastery with practical application, sharpening students’ ability to solve unfamiliar, exam-style questions confidently.
Course Progression
Each week builds on the last, following a deliberate sequence of topics that extends from foundational understanding into higher-order concepts. Regular quizzes, topic tests, and workshops provide checkpoints and targeted support. By the end of the year, students will have completed both Year 9 and Year 10 science, giving them a strong head start on senior pathways.
