Hugh studied his Bachelor and Masters degrees at Macquarie University as a recipient of numerous scholarships, where he currently researches optimal stopping problems and their applications in finance. Hugh has been teaching at Matrix since 2016 and is a key contributor, writer and editor of the Matrix Mathematics resources.

John studied a combined degree in Actuarial Studies and Advanced Mathematics at the University of New South Wales. He has been teaching at Matrix since 2017.

Daniel completed his Bachelor and Master degrees at the University of Sydney. As the Leading Mathematics Teacher, Daniel is a key contributor, writer and editor of the Matrix Mathematics resources and course design at Matrix. He has had extensive teaching experience across Matrix, The University of Sydney and secondary school programs.

Sandy is a current PhD candidate in Chemistry at the UNSW. She has been teaching and resources developing high school Science for over seven years and has lab demonstrated for three years. She has also participated in curriculum development for the new HSC Science Extension at schools.

Sarah is a current PhD candidate in Pharmacology at University of Sydney. In addition to teaching at Matrix, Sarah is a Pharmacology demonstrator, marker at University of Sydney.

Alexa completed her PhD in Gender and Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney in 2020. Alexa has extensive teaching experience both at the University of Sydney and at Matrix, where she has been teaching since 2015.

George is a current PhD candidate in Creative Arts at the University of Western Sydney. He is a published writer and won the Viva La Novella Prize in 2016. He has taught high school English whilst studying his Bachelor of Arts (English, Text and Writing) and Masters of Creative Writing.

James is currently a PhD candidate in Chemistry at USYD. James has been teaching and tutoring Chemistry since 2013 through USYD as a laboratory demonstrator and a KickStart demonstrator with high school students.

Patrick has been teaching English at Matrix Education since 2012 and has guided hundreds of students through HSC English to achieve their academic goals while fostering an appreciation for the art of writing. When he is not teaching, he is the editor of the Matrix Blog, which reaches over 2 million readers annually.
