Yes, the Matrix Year 3 Maths tutoring course thoroughly covers every aspect of the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Syllabus. The course helps students to develop strong foundations in all aspects of Mathematics.
Matrix teaches one term ahead of the school program with Term 1 starting in October each year. This means students learn ahead and gain a competitive advantage over their school peers when the topic is revisited at their school.

On Campus Course
All Matrix classes seat a maximum of 15 students arranged in U-shape formation to support an interactive and engaging student learning environment.
Each Year 3 Maths tutoring session is 90 minutes long and consists of Theory, Application, and In-Class Practice.
Matrix provides students with access to Online Theory Lesson Videos for missed lessons and revision. The video lessons are easy to follow and paired with the Matrix Theory Book.
Matrix+ Online Courses
Matrix+ is an online course consisting of video lessons paired with Matrix Theory Books. It’s a flexible, accessible, and more affordable option compared to the Matrix On-Campus courses. It’s an effective learning option if your child prefers to learn at their own pace.
No, with Matrix+ Online Courses you can learn at any time. Matrix+ lessons are pre-recorded to ensure consistent and high-quality lesson delivery for all types of learners! Our detailed video lessons allow you to view and follow the lesson at your own pace – pause, replay, or speed up videos for an on-demand learning experience.
For extra support, Matrix+ students gain access to online Q+A Boards where individual questions are answered by a Matrix teacher within 1 working day.
Year 3 Maths tutoring students will be able to access Theory Lesson Videos, Q&A Discussion Boards, and online resources until the end of the calendar year. For example, students enrolled in the 2024 Term 1 course (commences October 2023) will have access until December 2024.
Matrix Theory Books will be mailed to your delivery address via Australia Post.
