How to read the VCE rankings

Terminology

  • VCE students: This is the total number of students at the school enrolled in VCE units.
  • Median VCE score: If all the VCE scores from the school are listed from lowest to highest, the median is the middle score
  • Percentage of study scores 40 or above: This shows how many study scores at the school were 40 or higher, out of all VCE study scores from that school.
  • “–”: Indicates the school did not place within the top 150 that year.

The table below lists the top 100 schools by the percentage of study scores of 40 or higher.
