Sales Representative

Matrix Education is hiring Sales Representatives to join us at our Sydney CBD head office.

 

This role will be joining a growing Sales Team that reports to the Product Manager and forms part of Matrix Growth Team. The Matrix Growth Team plays an key role in assisting the business realise its growth ambitions by optimising its sales functions with data backed decision making.

 

As a Sales Representative, you will be conducting outbound calls and responding to inbound inquiries with a goal to convert.

 

This role is open to both up and coming sales professionals looking to continue developing their sales and commercial skills, and more experienced sales professionals with a proven track record of exceeding sales and performance targets seeking a rewarding role in the education industry.

 

Full training and support is provided. Working hours are flexible and rostered on a weekly schedule.

 

What you’ll do…

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective student and parent and effectively communicate educational solutions,
  • Respond to inbound calls and inquiries, to address customer needs,
  • Follow-up leads through calls and emails to nurture them through to sale.
  • Drive high performance within your team by providing continual feedback for growth and development,
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies,
  • Regular reporting to the Head of Growth regarding sales related issues,
  • Provide feedback to improve call and email scripts,
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions,
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of sales interactions in the CRM system,
  • Drive high performance within your team by providing continual feedback for growth and development.

 

What you’ll need…

  • Minimum one year experience in a customer focus role, ideally in sales or service,
  • Demonstrated ability to convert enquiries and problems into the delivery of solutions for customers,
  • Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Be a creative thinker who is passionate about figuring out new ways to improve a business,
  • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly,
  • Ease in being proactive and asking for a sale, and well as negotiating and solving problems with prospective customers when you hear ‘no’,
  • A self-starter with ability who is willing and able to get their hands dirty,
  • Flexible attitude, hard-working and results driven.
