Marketing Lead Victoria 

Box Hill, VIC |  Full-time | Six months fixed-term

Remuneration: $100,000 – $130,000 pa + superannuation

 

Matrix Education is now hiring a fixed-term Marketing Lead (VIC region)to join the Marketing Team at our Box Hill (VIC) office.

As the Marketing Lead (VIC), you will be responsible for planning and executing local marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and enrolments across Matrix Education’s campus in Box Hill, Victoria. As the sole marketing resource in the state, this role requires a highly independent, proactive, and strategically minded marketer who can operate autonomously while collaborating effectively with the Sydney based central marketing team.

This role is six months fixed-term, with potential for renewal based upon campaign delivery and success.

 

What you’ll do…

  • Develop and execute local marketing campaigns tailored to the Victorian market.
  • Plan and manage end-to-end campaign activity including digital, print, outdoor, and events.
  • Collaborate closely with the central Sydney marketing team to align with brand, messaging, and national strategies.
  • Localise and adapt national campaigns for relevance and resonance in Victoria.
  • Partner with the campus operations and sales/enrolment teams to drive targeted student acquisition efforts.
  • Track, report, and optimise campaign performance using relevant marketing metrics.
  • Manage relationships with local suppliers, and media outlets.
  • Represent marketing in Victoria, providing on the ground insights and feedback to the broader team.

 

What you’ll need…

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, with demonstrated ability to lead and execute campaigns independently.
  • Proven success in local or regional marketing roles, ideally in education or service based sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the Victorian market and media landscape.
  • Hands on experience with digital marketing, including social media, paid ads, and email campaigns.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely from a central team while maintaining high collaboration and alignment.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and execution.
  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability.
  • Strong attention to detail and results-driven mindset.
  • Highly collaborative and proactive communicator.
  • Customer-centric and responsive to local needs and feedback.
