Hurstville Matrix Education has provided me with tons of helpful resources which has greatly assisted my journey in getting a 99.95 ATAR! The teachers are also amazing and super kind, definitely worth it.

Matrix Physics classes have allowed me to pick up concepts faster and retain information better. I was also supported by knowledgeable teachers and had reliable resources to look back on. Matrix ensures that students not only understand the HSC content, but comprehend the reasoning and important foundations behind it as well.

Matrix Chemistry class offered a paced and guided learning experience that has helped me hone my knowledge and exam techniques. It has a team of inspirational and insightful teachers who create welcoming and comfortable classroom environments, where I felt like I could grow as a student.

The English course is so well designed. We are exposed to many different text types, allowing us to prepare for any possible exam question that could come up. My teacher also helped me work towards improving my writing by pinpointing areas of improvement.

The Year 11 English course was highly effective in preparing me for the rigours of Year 12 English. It allowed me to further develop writing skills and work to develop a well-thought-out essay under time constraints.

The Year 11 Maths Extension provided me with a strong foundation on which to build a higher level of maths, coupled with extensive, thorough resources that never left me lacking questions! Moreover, my teacher was always engaging which made the lessons something to look forward to rather than dread.

The Matrix English course has greatly improved my English abilities by giving me more opportunities to practise my writing as well as providing feedback as to how I can improve. The lesson content is also presented in an easily understood way to deepen my understanding of literacy concepts.

Maths Extension 1 has many difficult and complex concepts but they are explained clearly and in depth at Matrix. This has made the subject seem much easier at school.

The Physics teachers at Matrix are knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, making the content easy to understand. The formulas and equations are presented in a way that is extremely easy to grasp and remember.

English has always been one of my favourite subjects and I truly believe that the energy from my Matrix Year 11 English Advanced teachers have made an engaging and enlightening experience. The abundance of both literacy knowledge and additional contextual appreciation have really boosted my school marks and my personal appreciation for English.

Doing the Chemistry course during the holidays has greatly freed up time during the school term to work on my school assignments. Despite running for a short amount of time I was able to gain a lot from it.

Taking on the Year 11 Maths Extension 1 Holiday course really made me feel incredibly productive during the summer break. The intensive course structure allowed me to stay on top of all the concepts taught in preparation for the upcoming year, and significantly boosted my confidence in starting senior high school!

The Matrix Year 11 Biology course has greatly aided in a better understanding of the course content at school. The quality and structure of the Matrix Biology course – especially the Theory Book and Work Book – have truly helped me to tackle every syllabus dot point in a guided and orderly fashion.

Maths Ext 2 is a difficult topic, however, this course was able to explain everything with ease. The workbook also had some very creative questions that reflect the difficulty of HSC papers. This gave me ton of exposure and helped me remain comfortable in the actual exam.

Early on in Year 11, the jump from Year 10 had really reflected in my school marks, and the Matrix Year 11 Chemistry course helped me to overcome that barrier by providing concise, easy to understand lessons taught by a teacher who was not only engaging but passionate and well-spoken in their field.

Complex concepts were taught and visualised very well through diagrams and annotations. The work books also had exam accurate questions that helped with exposure and knowing how to respond to harder variations.

The Maths Extension 1 course was extremely helpful with their workbook questions. All the question catered to every topic in the HSC and gave a ton of exposure. The teachers explained complex ideas and methods of approach extremely well.

The Matrix English Advanced course proved immensely useful in clarifying ambiguous aspects of the curriculum and enabled me to develop strong arguments and reasoning aligned with the unit’s focus. The examination of exemplary responses and crafting our own writing improved my abilities significantly.

The Maths courses are highly structured and have resources written by professionals in their respective fields. I’ve gained a richer understanding of the content we learn within the HSC syllabus by hearing of its various applications, extensions and derivations that only someone of immense expertise could share.

The small Math Extension 1 classes are great in providing an engaging learning environment that allows for foundational Math content to be absorbed and understood.

The Mathematics Extension 2 Holiday Accelerated Course was intensive, as promised. However, by the end of the 9 days, past exam papers make sense rather than pose dauntingly thanks to my Matrix teacher.
