Meet our subject matter experts

Ms Ashley Kim

BComm MBA

Ashley specialises in the Decision Making and Quantitative Reasoning Subtests. She studied a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA at UNSW. She has been writing and teaching UMAT and UCAT courses for over 6 years. She is the CEO of Matrix Education.

Dr Alex Argyros

BAdvSc(Hons) PhD

Alex specialises in the Verbal Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning Subtests. He is the Chief Academic Coordinator at Matrix, and has over ten years experience teaching. He is the co-author of the Matrix Science program, course materials and assessments. He has been writing and teaching UMAT and UCAT courses for over 2 years.

Mr Brook Stefanou

BSc MSc

Mr Stefanou studied for his Bachelor and Master of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne. He has taught, written, and developed resources in secondary and tertiary mathematics with a focus on VCE mathematics.

Mr Tony Kang

BSc MTeach MEdLead

Tony holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Teaching from the University of Tasmania, and a Master of Educational Leadership from UNSW. He has extensive experience in teaching, curriculum design, and digital learning innovation, focusing on science, mathematics, and VCE education.
