Performance Marketing Specialist

Matrix Education is now hiring a fixed-term Performance Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing Team at our Sydney CBD head office.

As the Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-performing digital marketing campaigns to acquire customers and generate quality leads.

This role is six months fixed term, with potential for renewal based upon campaign delivery and success.

What you’ll do…

• Design and implement performance marketing strategies across Meta (Facebook), Google, and TikTok platforms to meet business objectives.
• Monitor key performance metrics (CAC, CPL) and continuously optimise campaigns to maximise ROI.
• Leverage ad creative performance engines to optimise ads and creatives for high engagement and conversions.
• Utilise knowledge of GEO and SEO to improve audience targeting and enhance organic visibility.
• Collaborate with the brand and creative team to build and test effective landing pages that improve conversion rates.
• Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve results.
• Stay up to date on digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure campaigns remain cutting edge.

What you’ll need…

• 3-5 years of hands on experience in performance marketing, with a proven track record in running successful campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of performance marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads) and creative ad engines.
• Solid understanding of CAC, CPL, and how to optimise for both.
• Familiarity with landing page development and A/B testing to improve conversion rates.
• Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and analytics teams.
