Primary Tutors

Matrix Education is now hiring casual Primary School Tutors to join the team at our Castle Hill, Epping or Chatswood campus.

This role is ideal for a current university student who is seeking regular tutoring hours to balance with their studies.

Our sessions run after school on weekdays and on weekends and would be ideal for a university student with tutoring experience, particularly in primary literacy, numeracy and examination preparation (Selective School or OC).

You will have the opportunity work with a fun and talented team in a modern campus with fantastic classroom resources.

Minimal preparation is required as resources are prepared for you.

What you’ll do…

• Tutoring regular weekly sessions in English, Mathematics and Selective School Examination preparation.
• Regular marking of examinations and delivering student progress reports.

What you’ll need…

• Possess a genuine passion for education and tutoring.
• Minimum 12 months experience tutoring.
• Have good working knowledge or personal experience (and demonstrated success) in standardised testing (selective school exam, HAST).
• Current tertiary studies in Education, Teaching or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
