Yes, the Matrix Year 3 English course covers every aspect of the new NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Syllabus thoroughly. The course helps students to develop strong foundations in all aspects of English.
Matrix teaches one term ahead of the school program with Term 1 starting in October each year. This means students learn ahead and gain a competitive advantage over their school peers when the topic is revisited at their school.

On Campus Course
All Matrix classes seat a maximum of 15 students arranged in a U-shape formation to support an interactive and engaging student learning environment.
Each tutoring session is 90 minutes long and consists of Reading and Writing Theory, Exam-style Practice Questions, and Guided Writing Practice.
Matrix provides students with access to Online Theory Lesson Videos for missed lessons and revision. The video lessons are easy to follow and paired with the Matrix Theory Book.
Matrix+ Online Courses
Matrix+ is an online course consisting of video lessons paired with Matrix Theory Books. It’s a flexible and accessible option that costs less than our Matrix On-Campus courses. It’s an effective learning option if your child prefers to learn at their own pace.
Matrix+ lessons are pre-recorded to ensure consistent and high-quality lesson delivery for all types of learners. Our detailed video lessons allow students to view and follow the lesson at their own pace – they can pause, replay, or speed up videos as required.
For extra support, Matrix+ students gain access to online Q+A Boards where individual questions are answered by a Matrix Maths teacher within 1 working day.
Students may access Theory Lesson Videos, Q&A Discussion Boards, and online resources until 31 December of the year purchased.
Matrix Theory Books will be mailed to your delivery address via Australia Post.
