Overview
The Matrix Year 10 Science Term Course is a structured 9-week program that teaches the entire next term’s content before it is covered at school. Students build knowledge across biology, chemistry, physics, and experimental science, while developing the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for senior success.
Delivered in 9 weekly 1.5-hour lessons each term, this program helps students gain confidence, reduce academic stress, and prepare early for Year 11 subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. By staying a term ahead, school lessons become reinforcement rather than new challenges, ensuring students enter assessments with clarity and confidence.
Course Timeline
2025 Year 9 students will begin their Year 10 Science course in October 2025 as Matrix teaches one term ahead of school.

Year 10 Science Term courses provided me with high-quality, thorough resources that broke down huge amounts of content into easily digestible chunks. On top of that, the teachers I had were all so helpful and passionate!
Tara Anglican School for Girls
Science at Matrix has really helped me to improve my understanding of scientific concepts. I am able to remember information that is actually useful in exams. The teachers at Matrix make an effort to explain scientific concepts so they makes sense.
Sydney Girls High School
The different Sciences covered at Matrix gave me a good understanding of the individual fields of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I chose all three sciences for Year 11, after my positive experience at Matrix.
St George Girls' High School
