How is the HSC Trial Prep course different from the holiday and term courses?
Matrix’s HSC Trial Prep course runs for 6 lessons over one week. Students revise all Year 12 Maths Extension 1 HSC topics and focus on exam-style questions to help them prepare for the HSC exam.
The Year 12 Maths Extension 1 Holiday Accelerated course runs for 9 lessons over two weeks and focuses on specific topic areas in both Maths Advanced and Maths Extension 1. This condensed, structured format provides students with a strategic head start, maximising continued learning and retention while freeing up term time for ongoing revision.
The Term course is identical to the holiday course but develops skills gradually across several weeks, allowing time for deeper learning, regular practice, and steady improvement.
Where can I attend the HSC Trial Prep course?
The HSC Trial Prep course is available at select campuses across Sydney and will be held during the July and September school holidays. Course dates and locations are currently being finalised.
What is Matrix+?
Matrix+ is an online Year 12 Maths Extension 1 tutoring course consisting of on-demand Theory Lesson Videos paired with a Matrix Theory Book delivered to your home. It is a flexible, accessible, and self-paced alternative to Matrix on-campus tutoring.
How is the online HSC Trial Prep course different from other Matrix+ courses?
While both courses allow the flexibility to learn anytime, anywhere, the online HSC Trial Prep Course is designed for students revising key Year 12 Maths Extension 1 topics. It focuses on exam-style questions and problem-solving across six Theory Lesson Videos.
