We are now hiring English Teachers to join us at our award winning Box Hill campus.

As a casual English Teacher, you will have your regular classes each week (from 4:30pm on weekdays and from 9:00am on weekends), and have the opportunity to pick up substitute teaching shifts. All lessons and assessments are prepared for you, so there is minimal preparation required.

What you’ll do…

• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term.
• Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking weekly essay submissions.
• Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

What you’ll need…

• Possess a genuine passion for teaching.
• Previous experience teaching secondary English in a classroom setting.
• Have extensive knowledge of the current Victorian curriculum in stage 4, 5 and 6 English.
• Have completed their degree in Education, Arts, Philosophy or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
