Matrix Education is now hiring Junior Science Teachers to join the team at our Chatswood and Parramatta campuses for the April 2026 school holiday program.

As a holiday teacher, you will deliver daily weekday classes to Year 9 and 10 Science students. Minimal lesson preparation is required, as all lesson materials and resources are provided.

This role is ideal for a current NESA accredited Teacher or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc) seeking casual teaching work during the upcoming school holidays. You must be available to teach weekdays from Tuesday 7 April 2026 to Friday 17 April 2026 (inclusive).

What you’ll do…

• Teaching year 9 and 10 Science lessons.
• Providing feedback to students on their progress in the subject,
• Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

What you’ll need…

•  A genuine passion for teaching,
• Have completed their degree in Education, Science, Engineering or a related discipline,
• Previous experience teaching Junior Science lessons in a classroom setting.
• Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stages 4 and 5 in Science 7-10.
• Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
