Marketing and Content Executive

Matrix Education is now hiring a Marketing and Content Executive to join our small, AI-native marketing team.

Matrix Education is now hiring a Marketing and Content Executive to join our small, AI-native marketing team as we scale enrolments across NSW and into Victoria. This is an execution-focused role at the heart of our marketing operation, turning briefs into published content, live social posts, sent emails, and activated events. Consistently, on time, and on brand.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager across the full marketing mix of paid, organic, email, SEO, and events, inside a team that’s actively using AI agents and automation to move faster than teams twice our size.

This is an opportunity to grow your marketing career at a business with real momentum, with AI fluency built into how you work every day.

What you’ll do…

Content production and publishing

  • Own the content calendar, writing, editing, and publishing blog posts, landing pages, and website updates on schedule
  • Produce creative assets for campaigns using Canva and write clear, on-brand copy across channels
  • Take AI-generated drafts through to polished finals in Matrix’s voice

Email execution

  • Build, test, and send the weekly email program in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, maintaining segmentation and list hygiene
  • Support the Marketing Manager in building automated journeys and monitor performance for opportunities

Organic social and community

  • Plan, create, and schedule organic content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, adapting for each platform
  • Engage with the community and track social performance weekly

Events and campus activation

  • Coordinate marketing for Seminar Days and campus collateral across NSW and Victoria
  • Liaise with schools, community groups, and local organisations on co-marketing opportunities

SEO and content discoverability

  • Apply SEO best practice across all content and use tools like Google Search Console or SEMrush to track rankings and identify opportunities
  • Learn and apply GEO principles so Matrix content surfaces in AI-driven search results, not just traditional Google

What you’ll need…

  • 3 to 5 years of marketing experience with hands-on content production, social media, and email marketing in a B2C environment
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, engaging copy with published work you’re proud of
  • Experience building and sending campaigns in an email platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Comfortable with Canva, basic design tools, and content management systems
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and at least one SEO tool

About you…

  • Organised and reliable with strong attention to detail; nothing slips and nothing goes live with an error
  • A bias for action; you’d rather ship something good today than perfect it for another week
  • Collaborative and, comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving small team
  • Genuinely excited about AI tools, whether you’ve already built workflows or you’re eager to learn

Why Matrix?

  • Join a high-output team using AI as a genuine part of the daily workflow
  • Get exposure to the full marketing mix across a fast-growing national brand
  • Make a meaningful impact helping ambitious students access world-class education
  • Be part of a business expanding nationally with real momentum behind it
