Matrix Education is Australia’s best secondary tuition college for over 20 years. Matrix are now hiring Sydney’s best Primary School Teachers to teach our new primary courses after school or on weekends.

This role is ideal for a current Primary Teacher or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc) seeking an ongoing casual teaching position which offers stability.

You will have the opportunity to be a founding teacher for our exciting new department, while working with a fun, talented and hard working team in a great work environment.

Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.


What you’ll do…

  • Teaching regular weekly classes in English and mathematics,
  • Providing ongoing feedback and consultation on class resources.


What you’ll need…

  • Possess a genuine passion for teaching,
  • Previous experience teaching primary students in a classroom setting,
  • Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA stage 2 and 3 curriculum,
  • Have completed their degree in Education, Teaching or a related discipline,
  • Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
