Primary Teachers

Matrix Education is now hiring casual Primary School Teachers to join the team at our Strathfield, Hurstville, Epping or Parramatta campus.

This role is ideal for a current Primary Teacher or a postgraduate student (MTeach, Hons) seeking an ongoing casual teaching position with regular weekly hours.

Our classes run after school on weekdays and on weekends and would be ideal for a current school teacher who is looking to for extra casual working hours or is considering stepping away from schools and would like to try teaching in a new environment!

You will have the opportunity work with a fun and talented team in a beautifully resourced campus with fantastic classroom resources.

Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are prepared for you.

What you’ll do…

• Teaching regular weekly classes in English, mathematics and critical thinking,
• Providing ongoing feedback and consultation on class resources.

What you’ll need…

• Possess a genuine passion for teaching,
• Previous experience teaching primary students in a classroom setting,
• Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA stage 2 and 3 curriculum,
• Have completed their degree in Education, Teaching or a related discipline,
• Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
