Test structure:
The Mock OC Test is a paper-based exam with multiple-choice questions. It has 3 separate test components:

After the test:
In the weeks following the Mock Test, you’ll receive an in-depth diagnostic report delivering insights into your child’s performance, including:

Test structure:
The Mock Selective High School Test is a paper-based exam with multiple-choice questions. It is 120 minutes in total, including test administration. It has 3 separate test components:

Presenter: Ms Gille Hambursin, Primary School Coordinator, 5 years of teaching experience
Gille completed her Bachelor in Linguistics and her Masters in Journalism with an extended Masters in Marketing. She is a key writer and contributor of the Matrix Primary courses. Gille is fluent in four languages and has taught students in both English and French.

Lachlan completed his Bachelor of Arts and Education at Macquarie University. He has been teaching since 2021, specialising in primary level literacy, numeracy and critical thinking.
Emma is the Physics Coordinator at Matrix Education. Emma graduated from the University of Sydney with a PhD in Physics. Emma has had extensive Science teaching and tutoring experience since 2008 at USYD and through secondary schools and programs.
DJ is the founder of Matrix Education and has been presenting his ATAR & Scaling Seminar since 2009 to thousands of students and parents at HSC Expos, schools, libraries and at Matrix campuses. With his expertise, he was first to develop the ATAR Calculator and continues to host the most accurate and popular ATAR estimator in Australia. He is also the co-author of the Matrix Science program, course materials and assessments.
Kimberley completed her Bachelor of Teaching and Arts at Australian Catholic University. She has been teaching Mathematics since 2017 and has had experience working with students of varying abilities, Special Education Needs, and through Distance Education Programs. She is currently the Mathematics Coordinator, where she leads curriculum planning and supports both staff and students in achieving success in Mathematics.

Do I have to be enrolled at Matrix to attend this event?
No, you don’t! We only ask that all guests register before attending.
Are all seminars free to attend?
Yes! Our ethos is to provide actionable academic advice to as many students and parents as possible.
Is there an attendance limit per family?
We’d like our free seminars to help as many parents and students as possible. We ask that students and parents attend a maximum of 3 seminars, with only 1 parent per family each seminar.
Can I attend a seminar that is not for my current grade?
Please only register for seminars covering your current grade to get the most relevant information for you. If the seminar does not match your current grade, your ticket may be void.
Do I need to confirm my attendance prior?
We will be confirming your attendance a week prior to the event. Please keep an eye out for this correspondence and respond to ensure your ticket is valid on the day!
Can I register at the door?
Yes, however this will be subject to the availability of seats at the time
What happens if I register and don't attend?
We organise these seminars and events to help as many parents and students as possible, so we ask that you register only if you are serious about attending to ensure that ticket availability is accurate.
For the health and safety of all staff and visitors, we would also like to account for the number of attendees who will be on site at a time.
