The Maths Acceleration course is for advanced students working beyond their grade standards. It moves at a faster pace, covers more challenging content, and is a pathway to extension-levels in senior Maths.

To apply, the student must be:

1. Currently studying a Maths Acceleration course at school AND/OR
2. Demonstrating high competencies in Mathematics (>85%) and seeking to study a higher level of Maths.

Application Process:
1. Submit the form below along with the required documents.
2. The Matrix Customer Experience Team will schedule your child for an upcoming Maths Acceleration Entrance Test, which is held every 2 weeks. This will happen within 48 hours of submitting the form.
3. After your child has completed the Maths Acceleration Entrance Test, the Matrix Academic Team will contact you within 7 days with the results of the test.

We reserve the right not to disclose the breakdown of test results or the reasoning behind our decisions. Each entrance test is carefully designed to evaluate content knowledge and the level of difficulty appropriate to the Maths Acceleration courses at Matrix Education, ensuring a fair assessment of every applicant. The outcome of the test reflects the year level most suitable for supporting your child’s academic development.
