Digital Marketing Manager

Matrix Education’s Marketing team is hiring an Digital Marketing Manager to join us at our Sydney CBD head office.

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in the aligning of our content creation with the growth marketing strategies, establishing a cohesive and impactful marketing approach.

This role involves managing campaign execution, overseeing content development, and coordinating cross-functional projects to drive measurable business results. With a strategic mindset and hands-on experience, the Digital Marketing Manager will work across various digital channels to optimise both short-term engagement and long-term brand growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the overall marketing strategy, bringing insights on audience engagement, content trends, and growth channels.
  • Develop and implement strategies across social media, email, SEO, and paid advertising channels, ensuring all content and campaigns align with the overall brand strategy.
  • Plan and deliver the end-to-end execution of customer communication strategy with a strong focus on inbound marketing, lifecycle marketing and lead nurturing.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Tableau, making data-driven adjustments to enhance outcomes.
  • Provide actionable insights and regular reporting on campaign ROI, optimising both content distribution and ad spend to maximise impact.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment. 
  • Continuously explore new tools, platforms, and marketing best practices to innovate and improve the team’s digital marketing approach.
  • Actively engage in ongoing learning and development, embracing new challenges and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Lead and inspire a growing team to deliver on business goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of commercial digital marketing, with a strong backgro

    und in campaign management, content creation, and data analytics.

  • High level of expertise and hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analystics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to execute and manage campaigns effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in social and content marketing and implementing content marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
  • Demonstrated ability to optimise campaigns based on performance insights, achieving measurable improvements in engagement and ROI.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and strives for a high degree of precision.
  • Effective organisational skills and process driven.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Media or Journalism.
